Who am I?
I am a 24 year old designer living in Arkansas, the hot seat in the world of design (catch that hint of sarcasm?) but really its a beautiful place and full of inspiration.
I am a mild mannered “Junior Designer” at Arkansas Business Publishing Group by day, and a very passionate freelancer by night.
I strive to create and inspire. As a “creative” I feel that is my job.
What do I do?
Well i do a lot of things actually
My goal is to be a well rounded designer, to accomplish this I take pride in understanding as much as possible in the different areas of Design.
I try to create meaningful and beautiful things for people to appreciate or try to relate an idea to a viewer across all possible platforms, digital and traditional.
I do what I do because its my true passions in life. I consider myself extremely lucky because I have found that thing in life that I can escape with. It works out great for me because I can make a living doing what I am passionate about.

Connection not PossessionSo I was driving around the other day, like I do everyday. Started thinking about life and relationships and how the connections we make are sometimes overlooked. We seem to put a lot of emphasis on labels, which in tern give a sense of possession. For example, take a relationship. Why do we feel like we have to put a label on it, or make it “facebook” official? Once this happens it just gives a reason to make decisions based on the label not the connection with the person. If everything is in its right place your decisions should be based on exactly on that, the connection nothing else. If there is no connection why be obligated to that person? (more…)
